Lots of exciting happenings in 2016 at Elora Academies!

 

Congratulations to Collins Agwanda on the 10th year anniversary of Shining Hope Organization.  Thanks to Collins, many young kids are given the opportunity for an education and the chance to play organized sports such as tennis and soccer.

Elora Academies is in the process of building three new classrooms in order to meet government building codes.  Construction has begun, but more funding is needed to complete the new classrooms and repair the old ones.

​

Collins has recently secured access for Elora students to use a local library and technology lab to learn computer skills.

​

While this is great news, the challenge will be in establishing a safe method for transporting the kids to and from the library.  It would be great to secure a van.

​

And as you will see in the later slides, an international hair crisis was narrowly avoided.  Evidently negotations were successful in providing a hair peace treaty.
