Elora Girls

Elora Girls

Our schools have already saved the lives of many of our students, protecting them from rape and prostitution while providing the educational foundation for a path out of the slum.

ELORA GIRLS’ ACADEMY is a secondary school to educate less fortunate Kenyan girls who cannot otherwise afford the fees associated with public secondary schools in Kenya.

Bursaries are offered to students who are orphaned or coming from underprivileged families. The months for Bursaries Applications are May and November each and every year.

OVCs are provided with shoes, academy uniforms, sports equipment and lunches in addition to academic training supported by various sponsors.

Many orphans and vulnerable children in slums and villages cannot afford uniforms, shoes, academy bags, or supplementary reading materials

Biting hunger in the slums and villages is also contributing to school drop out because no child can attend school on an empty stomach.

The academy offers educational scholarships, while also nurturing and providing exposure for talented OVCs from slums and poor families in western Kenya.

Children at Elora Academy rely on sponsorship for their tuition and upkeep. Once a child is sponsored, they are guaranteed food every day, good clothing, academic and sporting materials.
